I’m running on a little bit of a delay with the outfit posts (which is good! an abundance of ideas!), so this is an approximate week of outfits, starting from around March 1.
Occasion: Weekend dog walk in the park
Details: Uniqlo corduroy shirt (a ton of these on Poshmark); Kule rugby shirt via Poshmark, exact one secondhand here and many various colors with a general search; vintage Calvin Klein jeans via Etsy, similar here and here; Nike Blazers, secondhand here; Who? Weekly baseball cap.
Notes: Something’s not working here—I feel like a Playmobil figure. I think it’s the combo of the baseball cap and the color of the stripes. I wish I'd taken the time to find another color combo of this shirt. Even a burgundy and light blue stripe would feel more “me.” I love this Uniqlo corduroy shirt, though—there are some brown ones on Poshmark that would look great with a grey sweater and black pants.
Occasion: WFH, errands
Details: Eckhaus Latta t-shirt via TRR; rented Apiece Apart pants, secondhand in olive here, similar here; braided leather belt via Poshmark, similar here here; burgundy Bass Whitney lug sole loafers, secondhand here.
Notes: I think this shirt is from a shoppable exhibit at the Whitney. I can’t find anything similar being sold secondhand. Below are some other secondhand Eckhaus Latta t-shirts with the same cut/stitching that I also like!
Occasion: WFH
Details: Garnet Hill cotton sweater vest via eBay, similar here here here (still on sale on their website, too); Derek Lam shirt via TRR, similar here; green pants from Rent the Runway x Ashley Park, similar here here here and here (or you can buy them from me… lol I had two sizes rented and accidentally bought the wrong one first so I currently own two pairs 🙃 if you want a size 4, hit me up); Nike Blazers again.
Notes: Favorite outfit of the week! This outfit would have killed with the middle schoolers I used to work with—they always enjoyed the outfits you wouldn’t expect them to. Days like this make me a little sad that I only work from home.
Occasion: WFH
Details: Vintage Miami Heat sweatshirt from Etsy, similar here and here or find your own team!; COS short-sleeve button down (I find short sleeves easier under sweaters sometimes), similar here; dark brown MUJI corduroy pants, similar here here; Nike Blazers in coconut milk (my wedding afterparty shoes!), secondhand here.
Notes: I recently cut a few inches off the bottom of this sweatshirt because it felt long and droopy, and I wanted any shirt layered underneath to hang down instead. of bunching at the waistband. Highly recommend using a rotary cutter / ruler / cutting board combo instead of scissors if you are trying to crop your shirts. I actually changed out of this outfit for a Nets/Sixers game later that evening because I thought maybe it was weird to wear a third team’s gear, then hated the outfit I ended up wearing and saw a man in a Miami Heat bomber jacket who looked amazing.
Occasion: Very rainy but satisfying day spent between laundromat and reading at a coffee shop. (Finished The Coin by Yasmin Zaher, out in July… my hot take is that this book is what Eileen by Ottessa Moshfegh wanted to be.)
Details: Van Halen concert tee, secondhand here; Coach beanie via eBay, same beanie here; Levi’s from The Vintage Twin; Sam Edelman boots, exact style secondhand here (10) here (9) here (10.5) here (9) here (9.5).
Notes: I took this shirt from an ex whose brother bought it at the actual 1988 tour. I didn’t do it out of spite, more out of a desire to liberate this wonderful shirt from its longtime home at the back of a dresser drawer. I hope he knows it’s still living a wonderful life!
Occasion: WFH
Details: Tan cashmere sweater from Anthropologie that was a gift from my sister, exact one here (or search “Pilcro cashmere” or “Pilcro valani cashmere” for so many other color options on Poshmark); tank top from PacSun, similar here; rented Monse wool pants, different color here here; Nike Blazers, secondhand here.
Notes: These pants are not very warm, despite being 100% wool. Perhaps not the smartest choice for this particular day, but I now have some ideas for making these work well into the spring.
Occasion: WFH, walk w/friend
Details: All Saints leather jacket, similar here; grey COS short sleeve hoodie, similar here here; different vintage Calvin Klein jeans via Etsy; Sam Edelman boots again, Coach beanie again.
Notes: Forgot about this leather jacket! According to Stylebook, I last wore it 322 days ago. I think I subconsciously abandoned it after switching my everyday tote to a brown leather bag—never quite sure how to mix leathers.
And just for fun: an outtake with my dog, who is begging me to take him out.

Very tempted to risk $20 on those Brooks Brothers cords!!! Could be great or terrible!
Miami heat!! Think this is my fav (but they’re all so good). I think you’ve inspired me to crop a sweatshirt that I’ve been on the fence about messing with. It just gives it that extra flair. Love this roundup!
