Stadium Goods! I think they’re in stock on StockX too, but the price before shipping was definitely under $100 when I got them. (I don’t fully understand how those sites work lol, seems like ‘dynamic pricing’ but idk!)
Thank you for sharing the Ganni ballerinas! Agree that the non-leather shoes are tough, and most of my vegan leather has cracked or peeled beyond repair. I love what Ganni is doing for responsible fashion - these shoes are part of their Fabrics of the Future initiative and are made from recycled leather scraps and lyocell. I'm hopeful for how they hold up over time. Sending you positive vibes for finding these on TRR (they run a little big FYI). Also, love your lead in as a big believer in local voting :)
Yes! I think I've had the same kind of experience with 'vegan' leather before, but I'm guessing (hoping) that the Ganni fabrications will hold up differently because they are so thoughtful about sustainability!
I know... I'm dying to wear it! I was able to break out one of the other leather jackets for this June gloom but the length of the brown one made it feel harder to pull off mid-June...
Related to the ballet flat… I am reallllly into the New Balance loafer. I don’t know why. My eyes feel like I need to avert my gaze because they’re ugly, but then my brain starts thinking of ways to wear them.
The friend copying made me laugh. In high school we used to HATE it when someone copied us. I remember my friends and I calling each other ‘style infringers’ ha. Fast forward to today, if we don’t all have the same life-changing pieces-if we don’t IMMEDIATELY buy based on a friend’s recommendation-then there is something wrong in the universe.
I still think those Nike deer foot shoes (I can’t remember the name and refuse to google) are in your future one day!!!!! But these are so chic. You are the coolest.
Not a fan of summer clothes myself, either, Eleanor! I hate being sweaty and hot, and I hate wearing sunblock (but I do it!). I can't go braless (well, of course, I COULD but I might put someone's eye out, lol) and strappy/backless things do not work.
Holy cow, what scores you got! The Gap jacket is from 1999-2000, I'm sure - I used to have a couple of pairs of pants from that collection.
Love the Adidas ballet flats - I would wear those! It makes me sad to see fake leather/PVC being used to make shoes. It never lasts, such a waste of money.
I'm a huge fan of museum gift shops - they always have amazing jewelry.
Follower from Florida here! Can you share your fave thrift spots when you visit here?? I find myself striking out in all my regular haunts. #WillTravelForThrifts
Just outside of Tampa! I travel state-wide often though and always looking for new spots. I used to live in Orlando and found a gold mine there but struggle finding consistent scores now that I’m on the west coast.
omg you’re so right - I was writing this on the 16th and kept thinking “8 days left” and I must have just brought in the 8 because of that!!! Changing it now tysm
Ok I am so ballet sneaker curious but I think I need the Puma ones bc you and your friend Anna influenced me. And museum gift shop tees and sweatshirts are the best! Loved this post.
Where did you get your adidas ballet sneakers? They are very sold out

😊idk I think these might be the alternative! feeling like sensory issues and sock practicality would get me down on those Nike ones…
