Wow you were ahead of the game on renting clothes! Was that on rent the runway?

Excellent article, Eleanor!💕 I have a silk tee from the store (as the label says), and one of my treasures is a Rodarte x Opening Ceremony wool tuxedo coat (last seen https://sheilaephemera.blogspot.com/2023/03/mom-day-adventure-at-hcp-reader-request.html?m=1).

Sad that it is such a struggle for physical locations…

oh how I miss wandering through that store! I had a wonderful floral bomber jacket from them and I truly regret selling it. Thank you for this trip down memory lane.

I’m *sure* you could find the exact one online if you wanted to! (Not the same, obviously, but still comforting to know it’s probably out there)

I always aspired to be a cool Opening Ceremony girly but alas only owned a very special pair of patent red leather boots from them. Wish I had kept them as nostalgic memorabilia!

I remember when they first opened reading those articles about it and thinking something special is happening. I love this, and I love the whole notion of these posts that you are viewing them with your personal feelings and experiences.

I never witnessed the clothing boom in real time but I do love CHIFA (founded by some of the key OC people). It is the only place I can eat gluten free dishes from my childhood.
