It was the greatest treat in the world when my mom let my sister and I play with her old barbies that looked just like the one in your post! Your wedding outfit is so so chic!

What was the venue in Chinatown? I’m looking to host a Chinese banquet!

The wedding guest dress is divine. I’m excited to hear your thoughts on nuuly vs. RTR!

Literally started reading and immediately thought “would love to know more about the rental services she uses” bcs you’re one of the few examples I’ve seen where I actually love everything you rent, it all looks genuinely incorporated into your closet/style language. it’s not just event-wear but real daily use outfit components (and not just clothing for someone who is not interested in clothing and just wants things selected for them)! so v excited for the nuuly breakdown!! Also your wedding outfit is so vintage barbie glamour, incredible achievement 🤩🤩 worth the sweat hahah

Thank you! Idk if you were subscribed at this point but I did a post on Rent the Runway that I think you might enjoy if you haven’t read it - https://open.substack.com/pub/rabbitfurcoat/p/why-i-like-rent-the-runway?r=axa&utm_medium=ios

Nuuly review won’t be as thorough just because I’ve had the benefit of time with Rent the Runway but hopefully still useful!

Ok yes I will def be reading this!! I truly always pictured RTR as a way to try out a special event gown or some kind of luxury bag, so seeing your outfit posts really changed my perception of how you can use it!! Perfect as someone who loves fashion but is REALLLL iffy on both the sizing and quality of higher-tier fashion production haha

I love all the volume in these outfits!

Hadn’t noticed but looking back I see it! It makes sense… with volume (sometimes) comes distance from the body (very important to me during this season)

I get hot looking at your hair😂. Up friend, up!!

😂I know! I think the solution to my problem is a visor, but I usually have my hair down when I’m wearing a baseball cap outside - otherwise it’s up

I need to know more about the needles cargos! how is the sizing? I’m 5’1 & eyeing a pair in xs hoping they aren’t too huge.

I’m wearing the small here, I’m 5’7”/5’8” and generally a 27 or 2/4 if that is helpful - I’m guessing the biggest difference on you would be where the hem hits! But because of the drawstrings (on both the waist and the ankles) I feel like they’re pretty customizable. I love these pants and I would say if you can get them and they’re not final sale I would absolutely try them!!

And customizable in a way that doesn’t just look like “oh the waist has been cinched in really tight but those are obviously too big” - they’re constructed well and meant to be oversized, I don’t feel like I’m swimming in them

thank you! the inseam measurements seem like they’d work (I’m mostly legs!) & ssense has them on discount but not yet final sale 🙈

I would try them then!! Can always return if you don’t like (or if you like and want to find them for less secondhand)

I think I will! now to just decide between classic olive & black.

I’ve seen the black IRL and I think it’s harder to see and appreciate the structure in black! Still love them but just my opinion
